Great fishing off Woolgoolga Beach!!
Woolgoolga Beach Caravan Park (Woopi Beach Park to the locals) is becoming famous for its Kayak fishing. Kayakers can launch off the beach just in front of the Park & then an easy 20 minute paddle to one of many great hidden fishing spots. You can pull in a snapper or 2 and if you’re lucky, some pearl perch. We have even had tuna & spanish mackerel landed from directly out in front, when paddling around in the kayak. If you’re after some fun & excitement, this is the place to do it.
It’s also a great for spotting dolphins and stingrays or watch the seasonally migrating whales.
