Botanic Gardens - The Botanic Garden covers about 20 hectares with bushland and creek walks, sensory garden, mangrove boardwalk and rainforest’s. Indoor Rock Climbing - The perfect physical workout suitable for beginners to experts with increase agility, flexibility and manoeurability. Ideal for self confidence in your ability to overcome fears and anxieties. Children will learn the skill of thinking ahead and planning your next movements. They will also learn trust and taking responsibility for the safety and welbeing of their partner.
Raleigh International Raceway - Go Kartting is a fun high speed adrenalin action with the added thrill of going fast. Great for team work and racing friends.
Tabatinga Entertainment Cente - Has great kids activities including the indoor 9 hole ‘glow in the dark’ mini-golf course and a super kids play structure and Giant Jungle Gym. Click here for more information.
In house movies - You can watch a movie of your choice or select one of ours. Smaller groups can use our big screen TV in the TV room or your own private viewing in our Hall.
Kegel Bowling- This an award wining facility that offers 9 Pin Bowling which is different to the traditional 10 pins which creates a new fast bowling experience. Click here for more information
Pet Porpoise Pool- Visit the award winning Pet Porpoise Pool which has an active rescue and rehabilitation centre for marine animals. Students can get up close to marine animal experience the live dolphin show, be kissed by a seal and help feed the fairy penguins. Click here for more information.
Lee Winkler Surf School - Learn how to surf from a World professional surfer who is also a born and bred local. Lee has been surfing for over 20 years, holds an Surfing Australia license and accredited senior first aid course approved staff. Click here for more information.
Canoeing- One of the best spot to go canoeing is in the Bonville Creek which runs througy the Bongil Bongil National Park and is located next door to our Sawtell Beach Caravan Park on the Bonville Creek. The Bonville Creek offers a vast range of plant and animals life to discover.
An introduction to the ecology of coastal forest ecosystems. Students will be guided along a 2.5 hour loop walk traversing a diverse range of forest types including open forest, littoral rainforest and coastal dune/swale complex. The activity focuses on the inter-relationships between observed wildlife and their habitats, forest ecology, the impacts of feral animals and the impacts of wildfire, as well as Aboriginal cultural history.

Cost: Per Group = $220 (approx. $5.60/ child). Maximum 30 + teacher and 1 other supervisor (Maximum 2 groups)
A guided walk across the island as evening falls to observe the daily return of thousands of Wedge-tail Shearwaters (”muttonbirds”) to nesting burrows where hungry partners or chicks await. While a full moon rises over the sea, children hear stories about the life cycle and ecology of this far travelling sea bird as well as the threats to its ongoing survival.
This activity is only available between the months of August to April when the Shearwaters are present on the island.

This activity involves an easy stroll along the forested banks of Bonville Creek to investigate the rich diversity of plants and animals occurring in the area. Learn about the various edible plants, animals and useful natural medicines available which have made the estuarine environments of Bongil Bongil National Park such a significant resource for local Gumbaynggirr Aboriginal people. Where possible this activity will be delivered by our Aboriginal Discovery Ranger.
