Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Garden covers about 20 hectares of Crown Land only 1 kilometre from the central business district and is surrounded on three sides by Coffs Creek. There are displays of Australian native and exotic plants, including many rare and endangered species.

Water Adventure Tours

The combo tour is ideal for school groups as all 3 activities can take place at the one time and allows participants to try each activity. The 3 activities includes Sea Kayaking, Surf Rafting and Surfing. Sea Kayaking allows students to paddle in a stable double ’sit-on-top’ style kayak. Surf Rafting is a unique way of surfing the waves in 12ft self bailing whitewater raft with plenty of ‘thrills and spills’. Surfing lessons covers the basics of surfing, surf awareness and beach safety.

Billabong Surf Camps

Surfing camps lets you learn how to surf while you hang out with Billabong pro’s. The camps are designed as 2 day or 1 day camps. All camps include lots of action, loads of give aways and a chance to learn from the professionals.

Solitary Island Marine Park

The Solitary Islands are a group of five islands just off Coffs Harbour. The SIMP stretches 70 kms north and up to 15 kms seaward. Totalling over 100,000 hectares, it encompasses estuaries, river and creek systems as well as open ocean waters beyond the scattered group of islands. There are hard coral colonies, lush soft corals, tropical giant anemones, black coral trees and tropical fish and invertebrate species vying for space with ascidians, sponges, sea tulips, algae and fish species more commonly seen in temperate waters.
