The annual Sawtell Chilli Festival is held down the main street of Sawtell on the 4th of July. A fantastic family day out with chilli eating competition, hat parade, live bands, children rides and entertainment all day makes the Sawtell Chilli Festival a great day out!

Great Fishing

Woopi Beach is becoming famous for its Kayak fishing. Kayakers can launch off the beach just in front of the Park & then an easy 20 minute paddle to one of many great hidden fishing spots. You can pull in a snapper or 2 and if you’re lucky, some pearl perch.

Ray our night manager has been worming on the beach and last night pulled in some great eating Bream.

Woolgoogla Beach Shipwreck

The 1893 Buster shipwreck can be seen just off the Beach access path. Recent big seas have exposed a local shipwreck for the first time in 15 years. Residents and visitors can get a taste of our maritime history.

Jumping Pillow

We have recently installed a Jumping Pillow in our park and the kids are having a fantastic time. The Jumping Pillow is opposite the Tennis Courts. We have also installed a seat for parents to supervise their children.
