UPDATE TO PUBLIC ORDER
As you will be aware, the Australian Government is continually upgrading measures to stop the spread of Covid-19, in conjunction with current preventative measures the NSW Minister for Health and Medical Research, The Hon. Brad Hazzard, MP, has made an Public Order under the Public Health Act 2010 which now bans mass gatherings, places restrictions on other gatherings and requires the closure of caravan parks and camping grounds for general holiday travel.
The original Public Order dated 26 March 2020 has been amended and from 4 April 2020, caravan parks and camping grounds in NSW must not be open to the public except:
- Permanent residents of the caravan park or camping ground
- Overnight travellers,
- Persons working in the local area,
- Other persons who have no other place of permanent residence or whose primary place of residence is temporarily unavailable, and
- Visitors to the persons set out above.
Based on this information we have made the tough decision to close Woolgoolga Beach Holiday Park, Woolgoolga Lakeside Holiday Park, and BIG4 Sawtell Beach Holiday Park until further notice. We will however have BIG4 Park Beach Holiday Park open, for guests meeting the criteria outlined above.
If you have an enquiry regarding these restrictions, please contact us on 1800 200 555. We will be strictly enforcing the government ban and will assess each booking case by case.
For guests who are needing to stay with us at BIG4 Park Beach Holiday Park over the coming weeks and months, we will be supporting and encouraging social-distancing and hygiene measures, so remain safe, and for the safety of residents. This will include the closure of recreational and communal areas in our park, excluding toilet and shower amenities.
If you a future booking, please also contact us on 1800 200 555 to discuss your booking. Please note that our teams are currently experiencing high call volumes but we are doing our best to work through all bookings in a timely fashion.
Also in the interest of other guests and staff, we ask that you contact your Doctor prior to arrival if you are experiencing any type of virus-like symptoms. You can access official health updates from here.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this challenging time.
